Les Régates de Valleyfield announce the appointment of two recognized leaders within the organization

Les Régates de Valleyfield are proud to announce the appointment of Jessica Stafford and Janick Tétreault-Moïse within the organization. Well known in the racing and event industries, they will help support internal operations and contribute to the evolution of one of the region’s most iconic events.

Jessica Stafford, who has been part of the larger Régates de Valleyfield family for many years, is making a highly anticipated return to the organization as Director of Operations. With extensive field experience and an in-depth understanding of the event, she will oversee the planning and supervision of all on-site operations: admissions, ticketing, volunteers, accreditations, customer service, concessions, official merchandise, 50/50 draw, camping, parking, and overall visitor experience. Her work will be entirely dedicated to the Régates de Valleyfield.

She will also continue her role as organizer of the Salon de la Petite Enfance and remain actively involved as a volunteer with the Yéti Fest, demonstrating her commitment to the community. She will officially begin her duties in January.

For her part, Janick Tétreault-Moïse, who has been involved with the Régates de Valleyfield for nearly 30 years, previously held the position of Marketing Director. Her role now evolves into Director of Marketing and Partnerships for both Les Régates de Valleyfield and the Hydroplane Racing League (HRL). Recognized for her expertise in communications, sponsorship development, and event strategy, she will continue to serve as President and CEO of Zel Agence de communication, Coordinator of the Triathlon Valleyfield event, and Director of Marketing and Public Relations for H1 Unlimited.

These appointments will provide additional support to the existing team, drawing on Jessica’s and Janick’s experience and expertise to continue developing and promoting the event in collaboration with employees, partners and the many volunteers involved.

“Jessica and Janick are part of the soul of the Régates. Their experience, dedication and instinct for field operations are invaluable to our organization. I am very pleased to be able to count on them as we prepare for the next edition. Together, with our employees and volunteers, we will continue to move the Régates in the right direction,” said Émilie Daoust, Executive Director of Les Régates de Valleyfield.

A team committed to the 2026 edition

“With the expertise of our staff, the contributions of Jessica and Janick, and the ongoing work of everyone involved, we are fully confident that the Régates will offer an exceptional 2026 edition. Their experience supports the strong structure already in place and reflects the passion and know-how that define the organization,” noted Didier Bernard Séguin, President of the organization.
