Job offer - Physical Facilities

 The physical facilities employee coordinates, supervises and carries out all tasks leading to the realization of the event layout plan, with the help of a team of approximately 10 workers. He/she is assisted and supervised by the physical facilities manager.

More specifically:

• Implementing the various physical layout projects according to a specific schedule;
• Respecting the safety of the premises and the people working on the premises, including external stakeholders (e.g. firefighters and security guards);
• Assists in the coordination of partners and suppliers on site;
• During events: presence on site and do all tasks that can help the team;
• All other related tasks.

Working conditions

Salary, number of hours and probation period:

Salary to be discussed based on qualifications. The work is spread out from May to October, for approximately 900 hours of work. Work weeks of 36 hours per week on average, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, except during the Valleyfield event, plan to work 21 consecutive days and during the Beauharnois event, plan to work 14 consecutive days. Expect to work overtime and the schedule may vary depending on the weather and the deadline to be reached.

Job Prerequisites:

Employee must be in good physical condition, must have a valid class 5 driver's license, must be organized, must have good social interaction, and must be able to manage staff. Valid driver's license and the ability to perform a variety of tasks is an asset.
