Hall of fame

On the occasion of its 75th anniversary, the Régates de Valleyfield inaugurated the Hall of Fame, a long-cherished dream that became a reality on January 18, 2013.

The Hall of Fame is a mark of recognition by the organization of deserving individuals who have contributed to the promotion and influence of this organization, as well as to the development of the sport of motonautics.

In 2013, fourteen people were inducted in the following categories: builders, outstanding volunteers, partners and hydroplane drivers. They will be followed by ten more in 2018. To immortalize the name of the founder of the Régates de Valleyfield, the organization has also introduced the Hommage Armand-Clairmont. In this category, the participation and outstanding contribution of a dedicated individual to the organization at some point in the history of the Régates will be highlighted.

This tradition allows other contributors who have left their mark on the history of the Régates de Valleyfield to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
