A medical unit for the Régates de Valleyfield and Triathlon Valleyfield

The acquisition of a new medical unit for Triathlon Valleyfield and the Régates de Valleyfield has become a reality thanks to the Caisse Desjardins de Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. The trailer and a cart will be used by both organizations to provide exceptional medical services.
The medical trailer includes a dozen first aid kits, replacement medical equipment, a specialized first aid and casualty cart, and a side-by-side recreational vehicle with a box in the back. These facilities will allow local events to be well-equipped to provide safe and exemplary service to participants, athletes and festival-goers, as well as facilitate the safe work of professional medical volunteers.
This acquisition will allow the organizations to rent the mobile units to other events in Quebec and thus allow an additional income of more than $4,000 per year.
The trailer was used for the first time during the 18th edition of the Triathlon of Valleyfield which took place on Sunday August 15th. It will be very useful for the years to come!
